DAZZLING DUOS AT THE GRAMMYS

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban -  Nicole Kidman looks dazzling, but I wish Keith Urban would just put some effort into getting dressed!

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw - Dazzling to the tee!  Spectacular couple!  The couple that dresses together performs together too!

Miranda Lambert - Another safe bet in black.  I like this dress more than her on stage dress choice.  Much more flattering!

 

 

Alicia Keys - Always a class act!  Followed the black and cut outs trend to the tee! 

 



Kelly Rowland - I think she needs to re-read the memo.  A little too much skin both front and back!  Not classy! 

Chris Brown -  Does white symbolize peace?  I think this toned his personality down a lot. 
I would put him on the best dressed list next to Justin Timberlake!

One of the big trends for this years fashion - CUT OUTS!  Yes, cut outs!  Bust, neck, sides of the torso, midriff, and even legs! You name it, and there is a cut out!  Total fashion do!

Jennifer Lopez - Not feeling this dress.  While the arm and leg cut outs are a total do, the bra lines showing, the thigh fitting not done smoothly and the 'jolieing" just don't do it for me !  I had high hopes for J-Lo ...but each year cannot be 2000 I guess...Her hair and makeup though is flawless as usual! 

Katy Perry - A daring look!  A skin tight sea foam green dress is a daring choice!  One with a bust cut out - a bold statement indeed. 

Rihanna - I must say I love her dress choice.  It is actually subtle and modest!  That is uncharacteristic of Rihanna.  A beautiful color choice and the flowy fabric in the back just made her look so chic. 

Beyonce - One of the last few stars to arrive, I thought she would shut it down with a bang!  That was not the case!  She played it safe with a pant suit?  Really?  The only thing interesting about the outfit was the sleeves!  And the black and white combo - while it is in right now, made Beyonce look like a joker card :(

It must be my night! The majority of the stars are wearing black!  If you know anything about me, all I wear is black!  So, finally everyone agrees!!

Carrie Underwood - Another Roberto Cavalli stunner!  One day in my life I will own a Roberto Cavalli gown!  Till then, I can live through these stars!  I am sure many are bummed Carrie did not show her amazing legs!  But she looks beautiful nonetheless!  Fitted bodice, flowing fabric on the bottom...

Kathy Griffin - Black - Always a safe and classy choice!

 

 

Adele - Oh Adele - I love everything you do but not this!  It was a bold choice to go red, vs the black you always wear!  So kudos for that!  But this looks like you picked up your window drapery and made a dress out of it!  Too much print on the sleeves and shoes as well!  Not a good choice :(

 



 

Taylor swift - I love the dress choice!  Grecian goddess! It's a J. Mendel gown.   And yes, Taylor's clothes choice are getting sexier.  She is "getting older" you know!  So amazing choice on the dress, and white - a common choice for Taylor.  I do not like the hair though!  She would look so much more of a goddess if she let her curly hair down...But overall a great choice.

Anoushka shankar - Played it safe with white, but I like the red shoes and white dress!  How Dorothy of her! While her dress did not show much of her Indian roots, her nose ring did the part!

 

 

 

 

Ashanti - Welcome Spring!  Awesome pick on the black dress, and the leaves and flowers totally welcome spring!  Love the hair and earrings ensemble!

 

 

Kelly Osbourne - Trying to cooperate with The official rules of the grammy's - no boobs, butt or privates should be visible!  She played it safe, and the cut outs are figure and form flattering, accentuating her tiny waist and small form..

 

Joan Osborne - The only daring one so far to wear yellow!  So far its been mostly black!  so impressive choice!  She has lost a lot of weight.  A refreshing fresh look! 

 

Redfoo (LMFAO) - I like the ensemble!  You have to have fun in life and chill out!  My only complain - wear socks! 

 

Carly Rae Jepsen - A Roberto Cavalli stunner!  So elegant with the free flowing fabric.  Another black dress on the red carpet!  And amazing job with the makeup

 

 

 

Justin Timberlake -  By far, one of the best dressed and classiest guy to ever walk the red carpet!  He did not disappoint today in the Tom Ford ensemble!  I love the fabric!  Is it me, or does he look older though??

The Tom Ford Zipper Dress

The Tom Ford Zipper Dress (n) - Noun, describing the latest zipper style dress that every celebrity wants to be caught wearing.  From Jennifer Lawrence, to Kim Kardashian and now Jennifer Lopez, all the stars are vying for this Über sexy and trendy dress.

Of course anything that Jennifer Lopez wears, is the catapulted to another level!  Looking as glamorous and as chic as she did at the VMAs back in 2009, she strutted out in this dress for her 43rd Birthday party on a private yacht.

 

The key to wearing this dress - you need a sexy and well defined back!  And I do not mean your behind.  I mean the back muscles like the Rhomboids, Lats, Traps, And Scapular Muscles.
I have to say, the 43 year old hit this one out of the park compared to her younger com padres.
